Inspired by the world’s popular Hollywood cine stars Vivien Leigh, Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn, Kazakhstan–based chocolatier – The Ross Limited has produced the most expensive chocolates in the world priced at a whopping $14,000.
The first few chocolate boxes will be sent as special presents to the museums and studios where these actors have worked. Each box is a piece of jewelry and gastronomic art according to Ross Limited.
Six pieces of chocolates are designed in a unique and tasteful manner and they are located inside a carefully faceted sphere of absolutely pure volcanic glass. Each piece of chocolate symbolizes the natural elements representing geometrically the so-called Platonic solids including a tetrahedron for fire, an octahedron for air, a cube for earth, an icosahedron for water, a dodecahedron for ether, and a scope for vacuum. The gift is encrusted with gold and each set is priced at $14,000.
A total of 1,000 such chocolate boxes have been produced as part of a limited production which will never be repeated giving one in seven million people on planet earth a chance to get their hands on one such set.
