The Oberoi Group has launched the Oberoi Philae, a luxury Nile cruiser that will sail between Aswan and Luxor in Egypt, offering a four and six night itinerary. This is the group’s second cruise liner sailing the Nile in addition to the Oberoi Zahra. The Philae will offer guests unrivalled views of the River Nile, as they experience the legendary Oberoi service and explore 5,000 years of Egyptian culture along with high standards of luxury and hospitality.
The luxury cruiser will feature some of the most spacious accommodation on the Nile including 22 luxuriously appointed cabins and suites featuring large French windows that offer picturesque views of the River Nile. The cruiser also incorporates the latest technology including high speed WiFi.
Restaurants on board will offer culinary options of Western, Asian and Middle Eastern cuisine along with uninterrupted views of the Nile. The upper deck has a temperature-controlled swimming pool where guests can enjoy lunch, light meals and snacks at the poolside restaurant after a swim. The cruiser is also home to a dance floor and a state-of-the-art movie theatre along with other amenities such as a 24-hour and a Spa.
