The newly released Elite 6150 collection marks Zenith’s 150th anniversary collection and it proves that often times brands are lacking innovation and keep repeating old models by renaming them in the garb of timeless appeal. This collection from Zenith too misses the mark even though adorned in rose gold, this collection is a variation pervaded by a sense of repetition.
The Elite 6150 model has a curved 42 mm-diameter case with a dial featuring engraved hour-markers and slim leaf-type hands. This repetitively banal watch incorporates Zenith’s in-house movement with a four-day power reserve.
At the heart of this rose gold case beats the new Elite 6150 caliber, developed and crafted by Zenith. This thin automatic movement is the repetitive version of the famous Elite, first presented by Zenith in 1994.
The watch features 195 assembled components and is 3.92 mm thick and is also available in a stainless steel version which looks just as bland as the gold version which must be an industry first.
