The inventors of the annual calendar, Patek Philippe, have launched the most iconic complication that lends itself to a precious and refined version for women. The generously sized pink gold case has been redesigned with more pronounced curves to accentuate its feminine nature. The annual calendar displays the day, date and month all year long, requiring just one manual correction on March 1st.
This Annual Calendar Ref. 4948 also features a moonphase display. All these indications are set against a dial in white Balinese mother-of-pearl, surrounded by applied Arabic numerals in gold. The timeless elegance of its design, the 374 pure diamonds adorning the bezel, case, lugs, crown and buckle, and the enduring value of a Patek Philippe complicated watch transform this jewel of watchmaking aesthetic and technique into a precious object whose fresh charm will continue to delight generations to come.
The timepiece features a mechanical automatic movement and the watch case is made of 18k pink gold measuring 38 mm in diameter. The watch is water-resistant to 30 meters and the bracelet is made from pearly white alligator, buckle set with 27 diamonds.
For 175 years without interruption, Patek Philippe has been perpetuating the tradition of Geneva watchmaking. As one of the last family-owned independent watch manufacturer in Geneva, it enjoys total creative freedom to entirely design, produce and assemble what experts agree to be the finest luxury timepieces in the world – following the vision of its founders Antoine Norbert de Patek (1839) and Adrien Philippe (1845). Thanks to its exceptional know-how, Patek Philippe maintains a tradition of innovation hailed by an impressive repertoire of more than 100 patents. Independence, tradition, innovation, quality, craftsmanship, rarity, aesthetics, service, emotion and legacy are among the fundamental values of Patek Philippe.
