Armin Strom has introduced a new timepiece called the Edge Double Barrel. With its striking movement design and larger case size, the manual-wind wristwatch brings a macho intensity and gutsier attitude to the brand. This time Armin Strom has displayed a stronger aesthetic and design. Edge Double Barrel’s ARM16 caliber features unusual geometric and angular components. Spider-shaped crown wheels visually dominate the dial, complemented by large Arabic numeral hour indicators and the 60-second register with power reserve indicator.
Unconventional cross grinding decoration of the hand-beveled bridges strengthens the watch’s industrial feel. The bezel is enhanced with a series of cutouts. The large 46.80mm diameter provides more depth and dimensionality to the caliber ARM16 manual-winding manufacture movement.
The watch features an eight-day power reserve, small seconds and off-center time indications. The watch case is made of stainless steel PVD with a black sapphire crystal and case back with anti-reflective treatment. The watch is water resistant to 50 meters and comes with a stainless steel strap, a black alligator strap as well as an additional black rubber strap. There are only 100 pieces of this limited edition timepiece which retails at $27,459.
