Renowned for its classic aviator styling and functions specific to pilots’ needs, the Khaki Aviation from Hamilton, heads for new heights with a new automatic chronograph. A rugged X-shaped case with five pushers, sophisticated monochrome styling, impeccable precision: all the characteristic collection features are there.
What makes this new Khaki X-Wind Auto Chronograph truly unique is hidden inside, since it is one of the world’s first watches to house a drift angle calculator. This instrument enables pilots to accurately calculate and record the crosswinds they will encounter during their flight.
Powered by an automatic Valjoux movement modified to increase the power reserve to 60 hours, this new chronograph propels Hamilton’s longstanding heritage in the field of aviation to ever greater heights, as a worthy descendant of the watches supplied to the US Armed Forces from 1914 onwards.
The watch features hours, minutes, seconds, chronograph, day, date, drift angle calculator functions and the case is made of stainless steel with black PVD coating. The stainless steel watch case measures a diameter of 45 mm and is PVD coated. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal covers the watch and it is water resistant to 100 meters. The watch has a multi-level black dial and the hands are enhanced with Super-LumiNova®.
