Tutima Glashutte launched the new Saxon One Royal Blue – the spectacular highlight of the collection with a royal blue dial. This model’s regal attribute is explicitly mentioned in its name: the new Saxon One Royal Blue. Whether as a chronograph or a three-handed watch, Tutima’s blue blooded flagship model with a nobly sporty blue dial was the talking point at Baselworld 2017.
The new color joins opaline-silver-white and opaline-anthracite as basic colors of the other wristwatches in the line and coolly contrasts with the steely architecture. All models share the same outstanding styling: the case’s three-dimensional pyramidal structure guarantees an unmistakable and distinctive aesthetic.
The chronograph module that Tutima developed for self-winding Calibre 521 differs from most other chronographs because it indicates the elapsed minutes from the dial’s centre. This is an important advantage in situations where better legibility is necessary.
The case protects the movement against shocks and remains watertight to 20 atm. A screwed back with a sapphire crystal seals the case from the rear. The domed sapphire crystal above the dial is antireflective on both surfaces and offers a clearly detailed view of the applied index markers and the finely calibrated scales.
The three-handed watch encases self-winding Caliber Tutima 330, which is ennobled by the Tutima rotor with an 18 karat gold seal. Alongside the date display, the movement also indicates the day of the week. The new Saxon One Royal Blue is a wristwatch highlight that proudly continues the tradition of elegant and robust timepieces from Glashutte. In quintessentially Tutima manner, a red marking point accentuates the rotatable bezel.
