Saint Honore has designed a collector’s timepiece – the first ever to be made from a piece of metal girder from the world’s most famous monument – the Eiffel Tower. Saint Honore has used this precious component to make the bezel of the timepiece, its decoration and brown color an unmistakable reference to the French monument.
The Eiffel Tower is a wrought iron lattice tower on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France. It is named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower. The 2017 edition of the SAINT Honore Eiffel Tower watch is an exceptional timepiece and the case diameter of the watch is made from steel and measures 42mm. The silver open dial echoes the architecture of the Eiffel Tower. The watch features a Sellita SW 360-1 automatic movement with a personalized oscillating weight and crown, a date window at 3 o’clock, a small seconds hand at 7 o’clock and a stylized wheel that evokes the Eiffel Tower’s red elevators of the Eiffel Tower.
The watch us water resistant to 50 meters and features a brown crocodile designed leather strap with an Eiffel Tower pin buckle. This limited edition timepiece is available in a run of 64 pieces an additional nod to the elevator wheels, which operate in pairs and each have exactly 32 spokes. The watch is boxed in a collector’s case and is accompanied with a certificate of authenticity signed by the Eiffel Tower Committee (SETE)
