Swiss watchmaker Speake-Marin announced their second consecutive participation at the seventh edition of Only Watch charity auction to be held on November 11 in Geneva by donating a one-of-a-kind model – the Resilience Love Life. This unique piece was realized in collaboration with the brand ambassador of Speake-Marin – Pierce Brosnan.
The entire proceeds raised from this sale will go to the Monaco Association against Muscular Dystrophy to help finance research into the neuromuscular disease known as Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
For this seventh edition, Only Watch is bringing together 44 watchmaking Manufactures, each of which is offering a unique watch model specially created for the event. This unique piece was designed in partnership with Pierce Brosnan, who is sensitive to the fight against this illness.
Speake-Marin decided to contribute with a Resilience timepiece from the J-Class collection, vividly reflecting the brand DNA. Easily recognizable with its clean lines and characteristic design elements, this 38 mm timepiece in red gold has the inscription “Love Life” on its dial, written by Pierce Brosnan himself. These two words, which summarize the fight of Only Watch, find also their place in the signature of all the e-mails of the actor, showing his love of life and his will to keep hope in every situation.
The actor has also signed the back of the watch, reinforcing the unique nature of this watch. The inscription “Only Watch 2017” has been added to dedicate this unique piece to the association which deserves all the support possible in its fight against the Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Pierce Brosnan and the entire team at Speake-Marin have been actively involved in ensuring the success of this project – a perfectly finished unique watch. The piece will be handed over to the Association and will accompany the international exhibition which travels the world this autumn: Monaco, Singapore, Bangkok, Dubai, Istanbul, Hong Kong, Taipei, Tokyo, New York, Los Angeles and finally Geneva for the sale that will take place on November 11th.
